Manage tasks and Kanban boards in one project
Plan in a table, follow progress on a board, and keep context in a note. Centrux lets you view the same project tasks in a database table and a Kanban board without making separate copies.
Give each task a clear completion condition
A task such as “Check the landing page on mobile” is easier to finish than “Website work.” Add a due date and priority, then break larger work into checklist items.
- Create a project and add your first task.
- Fill in the status, due date and priority columns as needed.
- Keep relevant links and background in the task note.
- Add checklist items and mark them off as you work.
Use a table for detail and a board for flow
The database table helps you compare due dates and other properties across tasks. The Kanban board helps you review work grouped by status, such as to do, in progress and done.
Both views show the same project. A status change appears in the other view as well. Use columns and filters to organize the information that matters to your project.
Plan tasks and repeating work on the calendar
Open Calendar in the top bar for a month or week view of the same tasks. Due dates appear alongside daily, weekday, weekly and monthly repeats. Drag an unscheduled task onto a day, or click it to choose a date.
Create, edit or delete a task on the calendar and the change appears in the table and board too. Actual completion dates remain separate from future repeat previews. Editing or deleting a repeating task applies to the entire series. Daily bars show task counts so you can spot crowded days.
On mobile, choose Calendar inside the Tasks tab. Tap a date to reach its daily agenda, then tap a task to edit it.
Arrange the context around your work
Place a task table, notes, a calendar, a Pomodoro timer or a checklist on the canvas. You can read the task background while reviewing your plan or starting a focus session.
Use Tidy Up to arrange widgets when the canvas gets crowded. Start with the few widgets your current work needs rather than placing everything at once.
Share a project and continue on mobile
A project owner can invite collaborators as editors or viewers. Keep useful context in task notes so another person can understand the work without reconstructing it from messages.
Mobile includes tasks, notes, wiki, a focus timer and settings. It uses dedicated mobile screens rather than the desktop infinite canvas or knowledge graph. The free plan includes one project, one collaborator and 100MB of file storage, with new files up to 5MB each. See Settings and the privacy policy for retention terms.
